Linda Thumba is a South African-American physiotherapist. She has provided rehabilitation services in various settings in the Dominican Republic, South Africa, and the Democratic Republic of Congo since 2012. She has worked in acute care settings with children and adults, focusing on respiratory and orthopaedic interventions within public and private facilities. She has a special interest in Gender Equality and Social Inclusion (GESI), and capacity building within health systems. She has a Doctor of Physical Therapy from Emory University in Atlanta, and is currently exploring Gender Equality and Social Inclusion within health systems as part of her Master of Public Health at Johns Hopkins University.
