Introduction

Reactive balance training (RBT) is an exercise-based technique that is commonly used to manage patients who are at risk of falling. RBT has been shown to prevent falls in specific patient populations such as stroke and Parkinson's patients. Many balance approaches may seem to be RBT but are not. In this course, Selena Horner will discuss specific factors and considerations that qualify an approach to be deemed a RBT approach and how it applies to therapy.
