Introduction

De Quervain’s Tenosynovitis is classified as radial-sided pain at the wrist and the base of the thumb. This condition is relatively common, affecting 1.3 percent of women and 0.3 percent of men. Physiotherapists play a valuable role in managing De Quervain’s, using their expertise in rehabilitation to improve outcomes in patients with this condition. In this course, Kate Thorn reviews the clinically relevant anatomy, discusses management and highlights important aspects of splinting and strengthening.
