Introduction
Creative arts therapists use specific arts-based methods and creative processes to help individuals improve their physical, emotional, cognitive and social functioning. Creative arts and expressive therapies include drama therapy, play therapy, expressive writing, poetry therapy, dance therapy, art therapy and music therapy. As will be discussed in this course, collaboration between rehabilitation workers and creative arts therapists can have many benefits for individuals with complex health or rehabilitation needs.
Aims
This course aims to introduce creative art therapies and highlight the positive impact interprofessional collaboration can have on patient outcomes.

Target audience
This course is aimed at Physiotherapy and Physical Therapy clinicians, students and assistants. Other interested professionals such as athletic trainers, occupational therapists, nurses or medical doctors interested in this subject are also invited to participate.
