A typical case presentation of Parkinson’s may not always be straightforward. Your Parkinson's patient may come to your clinic with simple MSK symptoms asking for help. Your role is to assess your patient thoroughly with a solid base of understanding of Parkinson's to design an effective management programme. In this case study, you will get to learn from Dr Bhanu Ramaswamy on how to think when you are assessing and creating a treatment plan for a patient with Parkinson's.
Review the treatment experience of a patient who has been diagnosed with Parkinson's. Relate the examination findings to Parkinson's symptoms and explore a methodology of thinking when designing a programme for patients with Parkinson's.
This course is made up of videos, reading, forum posts and a final quiz. The course content is split into the following sections:

This course is aimed at Physiotherapy and Physical Therapy clinicians, students and assistants. Other interested professionals such as athletic trainers, occupational therapists, nurses or medical doctors interested in this subject are also invited to participate.
Hours of Learning - No deadlines are applied to this course and it can be started and completed in your own time according to your personal schedule. We expect the required elements to take around 1 hour depending on your schedule and learning style. Additionally there are many optional resources provided and if you choose to review these the course could take longer to complete.
