Rehab4U works to address the critical challenges facing Ukraine’s rehabilitation system, focusing both on the immediate needs of patients and the healthcare infrastructure, as well as on long-term systemic change.
According to Ukraine’s Ministry of Health, over 250,000 people each year require physical rehabilitation due to the ongoing war with Russia. This has created significant demand for rehabilitation services across the country, while the existing system faces challenges in governance, financing, and service delivery.
The goal of the Rehab4U project is to establish a resilient and inclusive rehabilitation system that improves the functional abilities, social participation, and economic opportunities of all Ukrainians.
