In the fast-paced world of sport, it is important to take a pause and think about how we can measure change over time in terms of rehabilitation and performance. There is a noticeable gap in the literature and clinical practice regarding upper limb outcome measures to help guide the return to play of our athletes. As clinicians we tend to solely rely on subjective measures, functional abilities and clinical scans. This could mean that we miss important information from local joints and tissues that are not captured during the evaluation of range of motion of strength. Join Ian Gatt as he links these functional themes to the importance of using outcome measures with your athletes as you guide them through return-to-play rehabilitation.

There are many guidelines and even more articles available to rehabilitation professionals describing what they should assess and how they might treat a person with Parkinson’s (pwP). In this webinar, Jim, a pwP, has kindly agreed to model for the session so Bhanu can conduct a basic assessment of his transfers and walking and explore the possible decisions a physiotherapist might choose depending on their clinical setting and service type. The aim of this webinar is to provide an opportunity for rehabilitation professionals to participate in a live assessment and treatment session with a clinician who has considerable experience working with persons with Parkinson's. Join us to put your learning into practice with a live evaluation and assessment of Jim, a person with Parkinson’s.
