Introduction

Ultrarunning, both road and trail, is its own unique sport. It often comes with sleepless nights and long hours on the legs, and nutrition is an absolutely essential skill to master. Knowing how to prepare your ultrarunner effectively and understanding what runners may go through will boost your treatment strategy and give you insight into their ultra-goals.

In this webinar, Dawn Nunes highlights the important considerations for getting ultrarunners past their ultra-finish line in their most optimal physical, mental and emotional self. Understanding potential benchmarks and challenges to ultrarunning will help you be a more thoughtful and impactful clinician with this unique population. Join Dawn as she discusses the multifaceted nature of this sport.
