Introduction

Running is a popular sport worldwide and an excellent form of exercise. Runners sometimes have to deal with mild aches and injuries, and sometimes these niggles can develop into serious injuries. Running-related injuries are quite common, and physiotherapists are often the first line of defence for injured runners. Musculoskeletal assessments form an integral part of the management of runners. In this course, some of the most valuable musculoskeletal tests for physiotherapists working with runners are demonstrated and discussed.

This course is helpful for physiotherapists to gain tools to apply in their clinical practice. The additional information about each test has helped me to understand how it can not only be effective with runners but also some which apply to the general population.
