Stacy is a physical therapist from the United States, living in the state of Texas. She earned a Master of Physical Therapy in 2006 and completed her Doctoral training in 2013 at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. Stacy has worked in multiple practice settings spanning from acute care to outpatient services, which has given her an appreciation for the hard-fought journey patients make across the rehabilitation continuum. Stacy has advanced training and certifications in the treatment of neurological conditions with a focus on individualised, client-centred, and creative treatment plans. She has a special interest in stroke rehabilitation, pain management, wheelchair seating, and wound care. Stacy is also a member of the course creation team at Plus, where she focuses her passion for lifelong learning on new course creation and content.
