I greatly appreciated the expertise provided by both Dr. Michelle Cottrell and Professor Trevor Russell in the provision of telehealth from a rehabilitation aspect.
This course provides clear information to enable novice telehealth practitioners to embark on new modes of service delivery. It gives the necessary background knowledge of the positive points, what to consider before starting and the regulations that need to be considered. It provides understanding of what technology is needed and how to prepare service users to benefit from remote services particularly now that safety for all must be at the forefront of our practises.
This course is highly important and timely considering the time we are in the world.
The Introduction to Telehealth course for me was an eye-opener. I have come to know and appreciate the essence of telehealth!
This course is so timely considering the new normal the entire world finds itself. All health practitioners, including Physiotherapists, would need to incorporate telehealth into our practice so that we can meet up with the health needs of teeming clients in the time we are in.
