Joretha Steyn has a BSc Physio (honours) degree and a Master of Science degree in Physiotherapy, specialising in neuromusculoskeletal therapy. She has walked alongside individuals from all walks of life. Serving in rural clinics, government hospitals, and private practice, supporting everyone from elite athletes to post-surgical patients.

Her journey began in community-based care, where she learned that healing is not just physical, but is rooted in dignity, resilience and hope. Over the years, driven by insatiable curiosity, she became a certified neurodevelopmental therapist (NDT) and later expanded her expertise into sports rehab, orthopaedics, chronic pain, and cardiothoracic surgery and recovery. Since 2013, her passion has centred on neuromusculoskeletal therapy, where she combines the science of pain with the art of restoring movement.

Today, she runs a thriving private practice, treating both hospital inpatients and outpatients, with a focus on cardiothoracic surgery rehabilitation (pre-operative to 12-week post-operative), chronic pain and neuromusculoskeletal therapy, sports-specific injury recovery and orthopaedic rehabilitation, fall prevention and elderly care.

Grounded by the verse “Be strong and courageous and do the work” (1 Chronicles 28:20), Joretha is a compassionate guide for those who’ve been overlooked, overwhelmed, or told to “just live with it” and she believes that no one should walk this road alone, whether you’re an athlete, a survivor or simply seeking relief.

Apart from work, you will find her in nature, soaking up the sun or dancing in the rain, exploring new adventures, and living life to the fullest, because where pain meets purpose, healing begins.
