Sopio Nadiradze is a Communication, Speech, and Language therapist currently serving at MAC Georgia. She embarked on her professional journey after graduating from Ilia State University in 2018 and has since accumulated a wealth of experience in both clinical settings and academia. A key focus of Sopio’s work is Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC). She provides indispensable support in selecting and fitting AAC devices, ensuring each device is tailored to the individual’s specific needs. Her involvement doesn’t end with the initial setup; she is deeply committed to providing ongoing training and support for users of AAC devices. This ensures that individuals are not only equipped with the right tools, but also use them effectively. Additionally, Sopio plays a vital role in advocating for AAC in Georgia. Through various programmes and projects, she works tirelessly to raise awareness and understanding of AAC, contributing significantly to the broader goal of enhancing communication accessibility across the country.
