With 15 years of experience as an independent consultant, Claire Boulanger has extensive knowledge of project management and implementation with international and local partners, in multicultural environments.

She designs and facilitates learning events (seminars, workshops, and ad hoc training) for foundations, non-governmental organisations (NGOs) and international organisations. Her experience as a trainer includes participatory design and implementation of training of trainers (ToT) on humanitarian, Accountability to Affected People (AAP) and safeguarding principles, as well as a number of training of trainers against the Livestock Emergency Guidelines and Standards (LEGS) standard.

Claire started her career managing major humanitarian emergencies, working both on operations and human rights issues. In particular, she documented war crimes in Bosnia and Croatia.

During her career, Claire has managed a number of teams and projects, piloting strategic development and ensuring learning processes alongside change management. She is a graduate of Sciences Po Paris and the Freie Universität Berlin. She was a board member of Médecins du Monde (Doctors of the World) France, USA and Germany from 2007 to 2016. Over the last 6 years, she has been teaching a course at Sciences Po Paris on partnerships between NGOs and companies.
