Introduction
Motor function and mobility are foundations for independent living. Understanding how to identify, assess and manage impairments is essential for effective patient care.
This course explores key rehabilitation principles for motor function and mobility interventions. It introduces the Physical Activity Pyramid as a framework for balanced activity and highlights therapeutic exercise components, including strength and flexibility training. You will also learn about mobility interventions, such as positioning, transfers, walking and balance training, as well as the use of assistive technology to support long-term functional outcomes.
