Ian is an Upper Limb Injury Specialist with the prestigious UK Sports Institute (UKSI) providing an advisory role to Olympic and Paralympic sports. He has been a sports physiotherapist for over 23 years, with considerable time spent leading the sports science & medical services for the Great Britain Boxing programme, whilst also attending major events supporting athletes on their path to success through multiple Olympics and Commonwealth Games. Ian also provides private consultations on complex/chronic Upper Limb Injuries to both sporting and non-sporting clientele. He is a renowned educator in Sports Upper Limb Injuries, presenting regularly at various universities, conferences, workshops, and webinars. Ian is a published author on research papers and has a PhD in Upper Limb Biomechanics from Sheffield Hallam University, UK.
