Pradeep is a Sri Lankan occupational therapist with over a decade of experience as a clinician and a clinical supervisor in developmental disabilities, mental health, forensic psychiatry and child and adolescent mental health settings. He obtained his bachelor’s degree from the University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka. He is currently pursuing an MPhil degree in Psychiatry at the same university. He also has a diploma in counselling psychology from the University of Colombo – Institute of Human Resource Advancements. Pradeep has local and international training and volunteer experience in community-based mental healthcare, consumer advocacy and empowerment, disability inclusion, human rights, child and adolescent mental health, adult psychiatry, and psychosocial support in emergencies. He works as an occupational therapist at the Child Development Centre at Hulhumale Hospital, Maldives.
