Dr. Rebecca Downey is an Assistant Professor in the School of Physical Therapy at Regis University. She received her Doctorate from Regis in 2009 and became an APTA Board Certified Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Specialist in 2017. She has experience working with paediatrics but most recently has worked in acute care, with an emphasis on critical care. She still practices as a physical therapist at the University of Colorado Hospital and is passionate about working with patients who are critically ill in the ICU. She enjoys working with students as they participate in professional formation from student to clinician.
