Introduction
The popularity of running has increased dramatically over the last decade. People run for many reasons such as to have better health, to compete, to become part of a runner’s community, to manage their weight or to cope with emotional distress. Therefore when assessing running injuries, it’s important to consider the personality of the runner and the psychological aspects involved with their running. Knowing your runner and understanding their motivation will help you in planning successful management. Dawn Nunes is a runner and a physiotherapist who created this course to help you understand the runners’ psychology.
