Introduction
Physiotherapists working with the paediatric population need to be knowledgeable about many common childhood conditions. The role of the physiotherapist is to facilitate functional independence for the child. This course discusses a further five conditions, focusing on diagnosis, assessment, intervention and complications. The five conditions explored in this course are autism spectrum disorder, developmental coordination disorder, spina bifida, juvenile idiopathic arthritis and haemophilia.
