Introduction

Carpal tunnel syndrome is the most common entrapment neuropathy. It is caused by compression of the median nerve as it passes through the carpal tunnel at the wrist and can cause pain, weakness and paraesthesia. Carpal tunnel syndrome impacts productivity, function, and quality of life. In this course, Dr. Loren Szmiga discusses the current management of carpal tunnel syndrome.
