The Calgary-Cambridge Guide to Medical Communication is a framework to guide healthcare professionals through a consultation. It involves both the content and processes essential to strong communication. In this course, the fourth in the programme, Marissa Fourie introduces you to the first part of the framework, Initiating the Session.
This course aims to introduce the learner to the Calgary-Cambridge guide to medical communication and specifically looks at the 'Initiating the Session' component of the framework
