Introduction

Neurological disorders and diagnoses can have complex clinical presentations, which can be difficult to categorise and communicate with the multidisciplinary team (MDT). Implementing reliable and validated neuroassessment measures can improve the rehabilitation professional's documentation efficiency and clarity, enable clear and concise communication with the MDT, and help guide rehabilitation plans of care to optimise patient outcomes and independence.

This programme explores the wide variety of neurological clinical assessments available to rehabilitation professionals, discusses clinical best practice in their use, and shares their reliability and validity within neurological populations.

Aims

This programme aims to familiarise rehabilitation professionals with neurological clinical assessments that can be implemented at the patient's bedside.
