Sleep is a universal experience, and it is essential for general health and survival. However, sleep has become a significant public health issue, as more and more people are becoming sleep deprived. This course, the third in a series of three sleep courses, explores the impact of sleep deprivation on health and introduces you to the main types of sleep disorders and the impact these can have on our patients' health and our own professional performance.
This course aims to introduce the impact of sleep deprivation and the main types of sleep disorders.

Physiotherapist, United States
Physioplus is an extremely helpful resource. I have been out of ‘hands on’ Physiotherapy for a few years (doing humanitarian work abroad), and this has given me up to date, evidence based research and guidelines. I wish I’d discovered it earlier: it would have saved me a lot of trawling around the Internet for high quality articles.
