Introduction

Morton's neuroma, also known as Civinini Morton's Syndrome (CMS) and interdigital neuritis, is a painful foot condition associated with neural degeneration and perineural fibrosis. Key clinical symptoms are pain and altered forefoot sensation. Among the conservative treatment options are footwear modification, orthotics, modalities such as extracorporeal shockwave therapy and transcutaneous electrical stimulation (TENS), and lifestyle adjustments. Other treatments include surgery or ultrasound-guided percutaneous injections. In this course, Helene Simpson discusses the most effective physiotherapy interventions for Morton's neuroma.
