Introduction
Did you know that postnatal women are less active than their age-matched peers, fathers and parents of older children? Women’s physical activity levels can be low during and after pregnancy. As rehabilitation professionals, we can help women maintain and return to a comfortable level of physical health and fitness for their life goals. In this webinar, Fiona Healy discusses the current guidelines and recommendations for returning to postnatal exercise. She outlines barriers and enablers to exercise and the progression from low impact back to high impact.
