Thanks to a new agreement between the World Federation of Occupational Therapists (WFOT) and Physiopedia, all WFOT members can now access the online professional development opportunities on Physiopedia Plus (Plus) with a 30% discount!
Collaboration between Physiopedia and the WFOT is certainly not new. Since we first met WFOT President Samantha Shann at the 2022 World Federation of Occupational Therapy conference in Paris we’ve been working together in strengthening rehabilitation all over the globe. This has included a 2-day ReLAB-HS workshop in Uganda and a workshop promoting leadership for rehabilitation workforce development and education in Ukraine earlier this year. These meetings were all about sharing, collaborating, discussing, inspiring and motivating towards aligning the rehabilitation professions to international standards, and the global perspectives shared by Samantha on behalf of the WFOT were pivotal.
In the continuation of this relationship a new memorandum of understanding has recently been signed between Physiopedia and the WFOT. This formalises our collaboration and commitment to supporting activities related to improving access to rehabilitation knowledge and strengthening rehabilitation systems through workforce development. As part of this, we are thrilled to welcome all WFOT members to join Plus with a 30% discount! Plus have been expanding our resources to support all rehabilitation professionals, and have an ever-increasing number of courses relevant to all rehabilitation professionals and to occupational therapists in particular. It is the breadth of members in our community, both in terms of global location and rehabilitation profession, that makes Plus a unique platform for learning and we are excited to welcome new occupational therapists to our global learning family!
