What if you could listen to Physiopedia content rather than reading it? We are testing out turning some of our popular pages into short podcast episodes that you can tune into whenever suits you.

Many of us struggle to find time to read lengthy articles, but we might be able to squeeze in a podcast during a commute, while exercising or when taking a break from screen time. We are exploring whether podcasts based on Physiopedia content could be another way to make rehabilitation knowledge more accessible to our global community.

We want to be upfront about how we are doing this. These podcasts are created with the help of artificial intelligence (AI), using the human-written content already on our site. They are conversational, straightforward and designed to be easy to follow when listening. We check them for accuracy, but sometimes they struggle with pronunciation and occasionally might say something odd.

At the moment, this is just an experiment. Nothing is final, and that is why we want to hear from you. Would you enjoy more audio versions of Physiopedia content in this format? Would they fit into your learning routine or clinical practice? Are you OK with the fact that while they are based on human written articles, the podcasts are completely AI generated?

We have a few early examples ready for you to try. You can find them here along with links back to the original Physiopedia pages so you can explore both:

Your feedback will help shape what we do next. We look forward to hearing your thoughts and suggestions as we work out whether this is something that our community is willing to accept and if it could add real value for physiotherapists and rehabilitation professionals worldwide. You can contact us here to let us know what you think!

The Physiopedia team is always looking for ways to make rehabilitation knowledge more accessible and engaging for everyone. Sometimes that means trying new approaches, and we are excited to explore this one together with all of you, the Physiopedia community.
