The structure of the human body is complex, consisting of many bones, joints, ligaments, vessels, and nerves. A clinician's ability to understand the anatomical structures of the human body is crucial for assessment and treatment planning, as each structure has a specific role in creating a functional unit. I have been practising massage therapy since 1993 and have worked alongside physical therapists, athletic trainers, and chiropractors, requiring a solid foundation in anatomy and physiology. This course reinforced my existing knowledge and developed that knowledge even further. As each of the sections in the program focuses on one joint complex at a time, I was able to add to my existing knowledge, which will help me be a better practitioner as well as a more informed anatomy instructor.
