Introduction
Hind limb lameness can have a significant impact on the performance and quality of life of equine patients. Equine therapists must have an in-depth understanding of the anatomy and common dysfunctions of the hind limb in order to enhance their patients’ long-term outcomes. This course will, therefore, discuss relevant anatomy and pathology, before introducing treatment techniques that can be used to manage dysfunction of the hind limb in equine patients.
Aims
This course aims to introduce you to the anatomy and common injuries of the equine hind limb. It also discusses treatment techniques for dysfunction in this area.

This course is aimed at Physiotherapy and Physical Therapy clinicians, students and assistants. Other interested professionals such as athletic trainers, occupational therapists, nurses or medical doctors interested in this subject are also invited to participate.
