Introduction
My mind is like my internet browser - 19 tabs open, three of them are frozen and I have no idea where the music is coming from. How often does this describe our daily lives, with our minds too full, engaged in too many different things to focus on what is happening right here, right now? The distractions of life are limitless, but our attention is very limited. Through mindfulness practice, we can train our brains to focus on the present moment, without judgement but rather with acceptance. This ultimately can lead to calmness and resilience, and increase our ability to cope with life.
