About

Nick Rainey is board certified in orthopaedic physical therapy and a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic and Manual Physical Therapists. He has also earned the credential of Certified Cervical and Temporomandibular Therapist (CCTT) by the Physical Therapy Board of Craniofacial & Cervical Therapeutics and is pelvic health certified through Evidence in Motion. He is the founder of Rainey Pain & Performance, a private practice in Arizona, USA. Here he also leads the Rainey Pain & Performance Research Division which focuses on answering clinically relevant questions in the daily flow of clinical practice. He enjoys mentoring residents, fellows-in-training, and students in his clinic where he treats primarily orthopaedic and pain conditions. His clinic’s vision is to “Progress the profession one provider at a time”. A major way he plans on making this happen in teaching is to simplify complex topics to help make expert clinicians earlier in their careers.

Low back pain is one of the top conditions seen in the outpatient setting at our institution, as many other public sector settings can attest to. I desperately need to change, revise and update my knowledge of managing these clients - to minimise developing practitioner-based frustration. I foresee myself completing the other courses on lumbar spine pathology management, which will improve my management of such clients. If you deal with such endemics as Low Back Pain - I urge you to dive into these short but powerful courses before embarking on more expensive, resource-consuming courses! The fundamentals are imperative - Nick brings it!
