Introduction
Musculoskeletal conditions of the elbow can have a significant physical and socioeconomic impact on individuals. Many structures, including bones, tendons, ligaments, bursae, and nerves, can cause elbow pain. Therefore, rehabilitation providers must be able to perform a comprehensive assessment of the elbow to establish an accurate diagnosis and management plan.
Learning outcomes
At the end of this course you will be able to:
- describe the key subjective and objective components of an elbow assessment
- select a likely diagnosis for a patient with elbow pain based on findings in simple case-based scenarios
Target audience
This course is aimed at Physiotherapy and Physical Therapy clinicians, students and assistants. Other interested professionals such as athletic trainers, occupational therapists, nurses or medical doctors interested in this subject are also invited to participate.
