Introduction

As rehabilitation professionals, the ability to share knowledge and skills with adult learners, including students, colleagues, patients, and caregivers, is an essential skill. A successful training programme is more than just delivering information - it requires a comprehensive approach to training design and implementation that transforms knowledge into practical skills.

This course aims to guide you through the critical steps that should be taken before, during and after a training session to create an impactful learning experience. You'll learn how to adapt your training approach to account for various contexts, including geographical, professional, cultural, and linguistic differences. You will see how excellence in training requires attention to communication, logistics, administration, and carefully selected resources. From training needs assessments to the final course evaluation, this course unpacks the skills necessary to shape learning experiences and refine your teaching strategies.
