Introduction
Steps four to seven in the evidence-based practice process involve formulating and implementing a treatment plan and evaluating the evidence-based practice process. Formulating and implementing the treatment plan includes integrating the findings from the critical appraisal step with the patient’s preferences, values, beliefs and circumstances, as well as considering the clinical context and clinical expertise. Incorporating evidence-based practice into routine clinical practice is important for rehabilitation professionals. Assessing the process through self-reflection questions serves as a valuable method to identify areas for improvement. This course will help demystify these steps and offer clear and practical guidance on navigating evidence-based practice.
