Introduction

Regular physical activity is an effective clinical intervention, associated with reduced risk of a wide range of chronic conditions and better health across the lifespan. Yet a gap persists between evidence and practice: nearly a third of adults and around 80% of adolescents do not meet basic activity guidelines. This programme gives physiotherapists evidence-based, practical strategies to translate clinical guidance into lasting change, addressing common barriers and tailoring interventions to every stage of life.

Target audience

This course is aimed at Physiotherapy and Physical Therapy clinicians, students and assistants. Other interested professionals such as athletic trainers, occupational therapists, nurses or medical doctors interested in this subject are also invited to participate.
