Introduction

The body's cells, tissues, and organs change across the lifespan. These changes can impact the functioning of all body systems. This course introduces specific changes that can occur in the musculoskeletal, neurological, integumentary, gastrointestinal, cardiorespiratory and mental health systems across the lifespan. It then considers the interactions between systems, offering insights into how a multiple body system analysis can help clinicians identify and prioritise impairments and interventions for patients of all ages. After identifying components of system analysis, this course applies these concepts to a case study.
