Introduction
There is often a gap between knowing about leadership and actually doing the leading. Bridging this gap can help rehabilitation professionals become capable and influential leaders in their field. To make effective decisions, leaders must be able to assess the situation, select a leadership approach, implement this approach and then learn from the experience. This course, the second in a four-part series, looks specifically at this second step of selecting the appropriate leadership approach. There are many different approaches to leadership, all of which have specific risks and challenges. This course will introduce eight of the most common leadership styles and explore how they relate to real-world situations.
Aims
