Introduction
Students beginning university or college must adapt to a new environment and take on new responsibilities. They may become vulnerable to several stressors that are part of student life, including course schedules, exams and deadlines, new relationships, and new surroundings. When transitioning to university, students are at risk of developing unhealthy behaviours, such as not eating well, being sedentary and not getting enough good-quality sleep. This course explains how self-care practices, including sleep hygiene, diet, exercise and social relationships, can positively impact a student's ability to learn effectively. As adults, our learning journey continues, making the skills taught in this course beneficial for professionals of all age groups
