Introduction

Coaching is generally a shorter term relationship focused on an individual achieving performance driven goals. Mentoring is often an ongoing relationship where a more experienced individual works with someone less experienced on personal and professional growth. Coaching and mentoring both play an important role in personal and professional development in healthcare. This course will equip you with insights and practical skills to develop your effectiveness as both a coach and mentor as part of your portfolio of leadership skills.

Aims

This course provides an overview of coaching and mentoring and explores the differences and similarities between the two approaches.
