Introduction

In this course, Pam Versfeld explores newborn behaviour and perceptual-motor abilities during the first four weeks of life. She examines the multiple factors that influence newborn perceptual-motor behaviour and discusses perceptual-motor development. You will gain the knowledge to understand, recognise and describe the factors influencing perceptual-motor behaviour and development in healthy term and late preterm infants.
