Introduction
One of the human body’s great features is its ability to adapt, including in response to exercise. Chronic adaptations to exercise are the long-term effects on body systems that result from regular training. These adaptations allow the human body to cope with the demands being placed on it and to develop and improve over time. This course explores the cardiopulmonary and musculoskeletal adaptations to exercise.
