The complex nature of chronic low back pain requires clinicians to be able to assess and treat a patient in a holistic manner. Integrative lifestyle medicine is a treatment option that combines the modern western practice of medicine with evidence-based lifestyle therapeutic approaches to prevent and reverse lifestyle-related chronic illness. This course, the first in a five-part series, provides an introduction to lifestyle medicine and how it can be applied to the treatment of chronic low back pain by physiotherapists.
The aim of this course is to introduce the viewer to integrative lifestyle medicine and give a basic overview of how it can be used in the treatment of chronic low back pain.
This course is made up of videos, reading, discussions and a final quiz. The course content is split into the following sections:

This course is aimed at Physiotherapy and Physical Therapy clinicians, students and assistants. Other interested professionals such as athletic trainers, occupational therapists, nurses or medical doctors interested in this subject are also invited to participate.
