This is a short video to show you where to find access and how to use the Physiopedia Plus app.
On an Apple device, navigate to the App Store. On an Android device, navigate to the Google Play Store. In the search bar, you can search for Physiopedia Plus. You will need to tap the Get button and then tap Open. If you have login details for Plus, fill these in. Otherwise, you’ll need to create an account. When you log in, you’ll be required to enter the 2FA code from your Authenticator app. The Authenticator app is a separate app that you’ll need to download. This is for an added layer of security.
Once in the app, you’ll see at the bottom is the My Courses tab. When you are in my courses, only courses that you have downloaded will be displayed here.
So if you would like to search for courses, you can tap on find courses, scroll through the available courses, or you can use a keyword to search for a course on the topic of your choice. Tap on your selected course. Here you’ll find some information about the course. You will need to download the course to be able to watch the video, access the reading page and the quiz.
Tap on the button to play the video. There are options available to customize the media in the Plus app, such as increasing or decreasing the playback speed of the video or adjusting the video quality. You may want to adjust the video quality. If your internet is not strong, you can watch at a lower video quality. You’ll also have the transcript, which is the exact spoken words of the instructor in the video. So if you wish to follow along the script transcript, you can do so. You can also choose to display subtitles on the video or not. After watching the video, you can move onto the reading page. And finally complete the quiz.
If you leave the course and want to come back at a later stage, click on the progress bar and you’ll see what you have completed and what still needs to be done. You can jump to the section that you still need to complete. Once the course is completed, tap the Certificate tab.
If you are doing the course offline, your progress will be updated online when you are back in WiFi or internet connection.
You can also view your activity log and add a new activity. You are also able to customize the appearance of your app.
