Physiopedia Plus (Plus) is an approved service provider by the HPCSA through the SASP. The HPCSA allows all health care professionals to attend accredited activities relevant to their scope of practice
Plus submits CPD points for all completed courses directly to the HPCSA on your behalf during the first week of every month.
What this means for you:
- You can verify course approval by the HPCSA by clicking on the accreditation drop-down available on each course.
- You DO NOT submit your Plus course certificates to the HPCSA. This is automatically done by Plus the first week of the month.
- Please allow up to three weeks for CPD updates to reflect in the HPCSA system following Plus’s submission during the first week of each month. Updates typically begin reflecting by the third week of the next month, depending on the HPCSA’s processing time.
- Double check that you have selected “ZA: Health Professions Council of South Africa” as your licensing org and that your HPCSA number is correct on your Plus Profile. For instance, it should start with the abbreviation for your profession: PT, OT, etc.
Pro Tip: Complete any outstanding courses early to avoid the auditing rush!
